• 4 large eggs
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
• 1/2 cup crushed amaretti cookies
• 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
• 1/4 cup chocolate chips


. Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Beat the yolks with half of the sugar until pale and creamy.
. Stir in the vanilla extract.
. In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gradually add the remaining sugar.
