Hungarian Goulash recipe

Here’s what you’ll need:

• 2 lbs beef stew meat, cubed
• 2 onions, chopped
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 red bell peppers, diced
• 2 tbsp paprika
• 1 tsp caraway seeds
• 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
• 3 cups beef broth
• 2 bay leaves
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 2 tbsp vegetable oil
• 2 cups cooked egg noodles
• Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Directions:

. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
. Stir in the beef and brown on all sides.
. Add the paprika, caraway seeds, and red bell peppers. Cook for a few minutes.
. Pour in the diced tomatoes and beef broth. Toss in the bay leaves and season with salt and pepper.
. Bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 2-2.5 hours or until the meat is tender.
