Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 1 ½ cups mozzarella, shredded
- ⅓ pound Italian sausage
- ⅓ cup pepperoni, diced
- ⅔ cup pizza sauce
- ½ cup Parmesan
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Lightly oil the bottom, but not the sides, of a 9-inch (23 cm) cake pan.
- Press the dough into the bottom and up the sides of the pan, creating a thick crust.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese evenly over the crust.
- Crumble the raw Italian sausage on top of the cheese.
- Add the diced pepperoni on top of the sausage.
- Spoon the pizza sauce over the top, covering the sausage and pepperoni.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the dough is deeply golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
