For the Wrap

For Dipping
  • 1/4 cup Grainy Mustard Note: Dijon mustard can also work well.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of kosher salt. Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Fold in the grated cheddar cheese and finely chopped salami into the cream cheese mixture until evenly distributed.
  3. Slice the whole pickles lengthwise into halves or quarters about 1/4 inch thick and place cut-side up on a cutting board.
  4. Spread an even layer of the cream cheese filling over the inside of each pickle half.
  5. Roll each filled pickle half tightly and secure with toothpicks or slice into sushi-sized pieces.
  6. Arrange the rolled or sliced Pickle Sushi on a platter and serve with grainy mustard for dipping.
