Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix with the flour, ensuring there are no lumps.
- Add the eggs and oil to the dry mixture, stirring until you have a smooth batter.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, reserving a handful for topping later.
- Pour the cookie batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out into an even layer.
- Bake the cookie bars in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
- Press the reserved chocolate chips into the top of the bars after removing them from the oven.
- Allow the bars to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, cut into squares and enjoy!
