• 200g cream cheese
• 50g unsalted butter
• 100ml fresh milk
• 3 egg yolks
• 20g all-purpose flour
• 25g cornstarch
• 3 egg whites
• 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 100g granulated sugar
• Tart shell (store-bought or homemade)
. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
. In a saucepan, melt cream cheese, butter, and milk over low heat. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool.
. Add egg yolks into the mixture and mix well.
. Sift in flour and cornstarch, mix until fully incorporated.
. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until foamy. Gradually add sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
. Gently fold the egg white mixture into the cheese mixture until well combined.
. Pour the mixture into tart shell.
. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the tart turn golden brown.
. Let it cool before serving.
