For the Tuna Steaks
  • 4 steaks Tuna Steaks 1 to 1.5 inches thick.
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds White or black varieties.
  • 2 stalks Green Onion Finely chopped for garnish.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a shallow dish or resealable bag, whisk together olive oil, sesame oil, ground ginger, soy sauce, garlic powder, rice vinegar, and lemon zest.
  2. Coat the tuna steaks with the marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill to high heat (450-500°F). Clean grates and lightly oil them.
  4. Place marinated tuna steaks on the grill; cook for 1.5 to 2 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  5. Remove the tuna from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with green onion before serving.
