Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta, egg, mozzarella, parmesan, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spread ½ cup marinara sauce in the bottom of the greased dish.
- Layer dry lasagna sheets to cover the sauce evenly.
- Spread ⅓ of the cheese mixture over the sheets and sprinkle with mozzarella.
- Repeat layering with marinara, lasagna sheets, and cheese mixture until all are used, finishing with sauce and mozzarella on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 40-45 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Check for doneness after 40 minutes; return to oven if needed.
- Let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
