- Butter one side of each slice of Italian bread with softened butter.
- Layer sliced cooked chicken breast on the unbuttered side of one slice.
- Drizzle ranch dressing over the chicken, add half of the crispy bacon and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
- Place another slice of bread on top with the buttered side facing out, then press down gently.
- Grill the sandwiches in a skillet over medium-low heat for 5-10 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
- Flip the sandwiches and grill the other side for an additional 5-10 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet and let rest for a minute before slicing in half.
