- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini heart-shaped cake pan.
- Sift together 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
- Cream together ½ cup of softened butter and 1 cup of white sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Mix in 2 mashed overripe bananas and 2 beaten eggs until fully incorporated. If using, fold in ½ cup of chopped walnuts.
