Ingredients
  

Marinade
  • 1 block Firm Tofu Press to remove excess moisture
  • 3 tablespoons Sriracha Sauce Adjust for spice level
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Can substitute with maple syrup for vegan option
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce Essential for umami flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil Prevents sticking
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Substitute for fresh garlic if in a hurry
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Powder Alternatively use fresh ginger
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
Garnish
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro Chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Press the firm tofu by wrapping it in paper towels and placing a heavy object on top for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together Sriracha sauce, honey, soy sauce, vegetable oil, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Slice the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes and marinate them in the mixture for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat for about 5-10 minutes.
  5. Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil, then place the marinated tofu on the grill.
  6. Grill for about 5 minutes on each side until nicely charred.
  7. Remove the tofu from the grill, let it rest for a couple of minutes, and garnish with chopped cilantro.
