Marinate and Sauté
- In a bowl, combine the flank steak with olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and bell pepper for 5–7 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes.
Cook Steak
- Increase heat to medium-high and add marinated flank steak to the skillet. Cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring frequently until browned.
- Return sautéed vegetables to the skillet with the steak and mix. Cook on low for another 1–2 minutes.
Prepare and Bake
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Split sub rolls and fill with steak and vegetable mixture. Top with provolone cheese.
- Bake for 5–7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish and Serve
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
