- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and ketchup. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into 6-8 oval patties, about ¾ inch thick, and place them in the slow cooker.
- Scatter the sliced onions and mushrooms over the patties.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the condensed mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Pour over the patties.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours until patties are cooked through.
- If the gravy is thin, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the slow cooker. Cook on HIGH for an additional 15-20 minutes to thicken.
- Serve the patties topped with extra ketchup if desired.
