  4. Sprinkle the flour over the onions, stir well, and cook for an additional minute. Gradually whisk in beef broth until gravy is smooth.
  5. Return the patties to the skillet, cover, and let simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately with sides such as mashed potatoes or green beans.
