Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add canned tomatoes, salt, and black pepper. Cook 8-10 minutes until the sauce thickens a bit.
  4. Lower the heat, stir in half of the mozzarella and basil, then fold in the gnocchi.
  5. Top with remaining mozzarella and half of the parmesan. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is golden.
  6. Sprinkle remaining parmesan and fresh basil on top before serving.
