  • 1 yellow onion chopped
  • 4 cups cabbage finely shredded
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1 cup cooked rice or quinoa for gluten-free
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce for gluten-free
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or 1 clove fresh garlic
  • 1 tsp paprika smoked paprika for extra flavor
  • 1/2 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper adjust to taste

Cabbage Beef Bake Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion for 7–8 minutes.
  3. Drain excess fat and add cabbage, diced tomatoes, rice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Allow to simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press down evenly.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30–35 minutes.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
