  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch Flour can be used as a substitute
  • 1 cup Roasted Red Bell Peppers Fresh bell peppers can replace or omit
  • 2 tablespoons Capers Green olives can also serve as a replacement

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Marinate the shrimp with olive oil and Cajun seasoning for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Cook fettuccini in boiling salted water for 8-10 minutes until al dente, then drain.
  3. Sauté mushrooms and shallots in butter for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  4. Cook the marinated shrimp in the same pan for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  5. Add chicken broth, reduce to ¼ cup in about 5 minutes, then stir in sour cream and cornstarch until thickened.
  6. Combine shrimp, vegetables, roasted red bell peppers, and capers with the sauce and heat through.
  7. Serve the creamy mixture over fettuccini, garnishing as desired.
