  • 1 pound Ground sausage mild or spicy; vegetarian options available
  • 1 cup Canned pumpkin puree or freshly roasted pumpkin
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup Grated Fontina cheese or Gruyere or mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup Whole-milk ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
  • 8 leaves Fresh sage dried sage or thyme works too
  • 2 tablespoons Hot honey or maple syrup

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil over medium heat. Add thinly sliced shallots and sauté for about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add your choice of ground sausage to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Spread a generous layer of creamy canned pumpkin puree evenly over each naan.
  5. Sprinkle dried oregano over the naan, then layer the cooked sausage and caramelized shallots. Top with grated Fontina cheese.
  6. Dollop whole-milk ricotta cheese across the pizzas and scatter fresh sage leaves.
  7. Bake for approximately 15 minutes until the naan edges are golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Drizzle with hot honey before serving.
