Cooking Steps
- Slice flank steak or sirloin against the grain. Combine with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch in a bowl to marinate for 10 minutes.
- Wash and slice bell pepper into strips. Chop broccoli into pieces and slice green onions.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add marinated beef in a single layer, browning undisturbed for 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove beef from pan and set aside. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds, then add bell pepper and broccoli to stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
- Return beef to the pan, add sesame oil, and season with salt and pepper. Stir everything together for 2 more minutes.
- Serve over rice or noodles and garnish with green onions.
