Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the large shrimp under cold water and pat them dry thoroughly with a paper towel.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cornstarch, all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Toss the shrimp in the dry mixture to ensure they are evenly coated.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry the coated shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Transfer the fried shrimp to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
  7. Serve the crispy shrimp on a platter, garnished with fresh cilantro and lemon wedges.
