Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle, about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Generously brush the rolled puff pastry with melted butter.
  4. In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar with ground cinnamon, and sprinkle evenly over the buttered pastry.
  5. Cut the pastry into 1-inch wide strips and roll each strip into spirals.
  6. Grease a muffin tin and place the rolled cruffins into each cup.
  7. Brush the tops of your cruffins with an egg wash or alternative.
  8. Place the muffin tin in your preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  9. Remove the cruffins from the oven and let them cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
