- Preheat your grill to medium-high, about 375°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Form into four patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and onions, and sauté for about 5 minutes.
- Cut four large sheets of aluminum foil, and place one beef patty in the center of each sheet.
- Top each patty with the sautéed mushrooms and onions, then add a slice of Swiss cheese.
- Carefully fold the aluminum foil over the patties to create tightly sealed packets.
- Place the foil packets on the preheated grill and close the lid. Grill for about 15-20 minutes.
- Remove the foil packets from the grill and let them rest briefly before serving.
