  • 2 whole lemons Fresh for maximum zest and juice.
For the Limoncello Soak
  • 6 tbsp Limoncello Lemon Liqueur Select a good-quality brand.
  • 7 oz lady finger cookies Hard lady fingers recommended.
For the Lemon Curd Layer
  • 8 oz lemon curd Store-bought or homemade.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Zest and juice one of the lemons, setting aside about 1 tablespoon of juice and 1/2 tablespoon of zest.
  2. Beat the mascarpone cheese until smooth, then gradually add the whipping cream until fluffy.
  3. Mix in the lemon zest, juice, and powdered sugar until fully combined.
  4. Lay half of the lady fingers in a dish and drizzle with Limoncello, allowing to absorb.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the lady fingers, followed by a layer of lemon curd.
  6. Repeat with remaining lady fingers and mascarpone mixture.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 10 hours.
  8. Garnish with lemon slices and powdered sugar before serving.
