Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined and shape into patties.
  2. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter, whisk in flour, and cook until golden. Gradually pour in beef broth while whisking, then stir in soy sauce, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
  4. In a separate pan, heat oil or butter and crack in the eggs. Cook sunny-side-up for 3-4 minutes until whites are set. Remove and keep warm.
  5. Serve warm rice on plates, top with a patty, pour gravy over it, and finish with a fried egg. Enjoy your Loco Moco!
