- Slice the zucchini into 2-inch long sticks, about half an inch thick. Chop the onion into half-inch chunks.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the chopped onion to the hot oil and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until edges are blistered.
- Stir in minced garlic and freshly grated ginger, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add zucchini sticks and stir-fry for approximately 4-5 minutes until slightly browned.
- Pour in soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, sesame oil, and crushed red pepper flakes, tossing to coat.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with black pepper, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
