Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine flour, butter, powdered sugar, and egg yolks until a dough forms. Shape into disks and press into a greased tartlet pan. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely.
- In a saucepan, heat heavy cream until steaming. Remove and stir in chocolate and brewed coffee until smooth. Cool in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes. Set aside in the fridge.
- Fill each cooled tart shell with the chilled coffee ganache. Pipe a swirl of mascarpone cream on top.
- Chill assembled tartlets for an additional 15-20 minutes. Dust with cocoa powder and garnish with coffee beans if desired.
