  • a few drops Orange Food Coloring

Step‑By‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8x8 inch baking dish lined with parchment paper, lightly greased.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together granulated white sugar, all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, beat together eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  4. Reserve about ¼ cup of the brownie batter; pour remaining batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  5. Beat cream cheese with additional sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth; add food coloring and mix well.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie base, drop reserved batter in spoonfuls, and swirl gently.
  7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until edges are set; a toothpick should come out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan on a wire rack; cut into squares once completely cool.
