Prepare Ingredients
- Wash and hull 2 cups of fresh strawberries, then blend until smooth to make strawberry puree. Strain if necessary and let cool.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk 1 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold in 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar.
- In another bowl, mix 8 ounces of softened cream cheese with reserved whipped cream, add 2 tablespoons of white sugar and half of the strawberry puree.
Assemble the Trifles
- Layer angel food cake pieces, sliced strawberries, and cream cheese filling in serving glasses. Repeat layers.
- Top with fresh blueberries and reserve whipped cream for garnishing.
Chill and Serve
- Cover trifles and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve chilled topped with reserved whipped cream and additional berries.
