Ingredients
  

Base
  • 1 whole Pre-made Angel Food Cake Substitute with homemade if preferred.
Fruit Layers
  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries Can substitute with fresh raspberries or cherries.
  • 1 cup Fresh Blueberries Can substitute with diced kiwi or blackberries.
Cream Filling
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Use coconut cream for dairy-free alternative.
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered Sugar Granulated sugar can be used but will affect texture.
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Mascarpone can be used as a luxurious substitute.
  • 2 tablespoons White Sugar Can reduce or omit based on preference.

Method
 

Prepare Ingredients
  1. Wash and hull 2 cups of fresh strawberries, then blend until smooth to make strawberry puree. Strain if necessary and let cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk 1 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold in 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar.
  3. In another bowl, mix 8 ounces of softened cream cheese with reserved whipped cream, add 2 tablespoons of white sugar and half of the strawberry puree.
Assemble the Trifles
  1. Layer angel food cake pieces, sliced strawberries, and cream cheese filling in serving glasses. Repeat layers.
  2. Top with fresh blueberries and reserve whipped cream for garnishing.
Chill and Serve
  1. Cover trifles and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve chilled topped with reserved whipped cream and additional berries.
