  6. Fold in the cherries and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Scoop dough into balls and place on the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake for 10-13 minutes or until edges are golden; centers should remain soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
