Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine finely chopped almonds, honey, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Stir until the mixture is sticky, about 2-3 minutes.
- Lay a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond shape. Ensure the wrapper is smooth.
- Spoon approximately 1 tablespoon of filling onto the lower corner of the wrapper.
- Fold the corner over the filling tightly, then roll it towards the opposite corner.
- Brush the top corner with melted butter to seal the roll.
- Continue rolling and sealing until all wrappers and filling are used. Arrange on a baking sheet.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Allow 10 minutes for preheating.
- Brush the tops of the cigars with melted butter before baking.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
- Allow to cool slightly, and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
