Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, chicken broth, ginger, and garlic until combined. Reserve one cup for later. Add chicken thighs, coat well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F (200°C), about 15-20 minutes prior to cooking.
  3. Remove chicken from marinade, shake off excess, and grill for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and 165°F (75°C) internally.
  4. After cooking, let chicken rest for a few minutes before serving with rice and avocado.
