- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a batch of fudgy brownies according to the package instructions in a greased 9x9-inch pan. Bake and cool completely on a wire rack.
- Let your ice cream soften at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
- Spread the softened ice cream evenly over the cooled brownie base, and sprinkle brownie chunks on top, gently pressing them in.
- Cover the cake with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours, until firm.
- Remove from the freezer, drizzle chocolate sauce on top, and optionally add whipped cream and chocolate shavings before serving.
