  • 12 pieces Spring Roll Wrappers or filo pastry for flakiness
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter for brushing
For the Finish

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Filling: Finely chop almonds and mix with honey, ground cinnamon, and grated nutmeg in a bowl.
  2. Setup Wrappers: Lay a spring roll wrapper flat with a corner facing you.
  3. Fill the Wrapper: Spoon about 1 tablespoon of almond filling onto the wrapper.
  4. Roll the Cigar: Fold the lower corner over the filling and roll tightly.
  5. Seal Edges: Brush melted butter on top corner and seal the wrapper.
  6. Repeat: Continue with remaining wrappers and filling.
  7. Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Prepare for Baking: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange cigars.
  9. Bake: Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Finish and Serve: Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
