  • 1 tablespoon Mild Chili Powder Substitute with paprika for a milder flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice Lemon juice can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Zest Optional but highly recommended for extra zest.
For the Kabobs
  • 24 pieces Shrimp (large, peeled and deveined) Ensure proper thawing if using frozen shrimp.
  • 3 large Peaches (peeled and cut into chunks) Nectarines can be substituted.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Avocado oil can be used for a different taste.
  • 8 pieces Kabob Skewers Consider using soaked wooden skewers for better performance.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, mild chili powder, lime juice, and lime zest. Stir thoroughly until well blended.
  2. Thread the shrimp and peach chunks alternately onto the kabob skewers, including 3-4 shrimp and equal peach pieces.
  3. Brush the marinade generously over the assembled skewers and let them marinate for about 15-30 minutes at room temperature.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium heat (around 350°F). Oil the grill grates lightly to prevent sticking.
  5. Place the kabob skewers on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until shrimp are opaque and peaches have grill marks.
  6. Once cooked through, remove the skewers and let them rest for a minute before serving.
