Preparation Steps
  1. Remove the tough muscle from each sea scallop, ensuring they are clean. Pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, zest, and smoked paprika. Mix until well incorporated.
  3. In a large bowl, add cleaned scallops, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper. Toss to coat.
  4. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and clean the grill grates. Lightly oil the grates.
  6. Grill scallops for about 3 minutes on each side until golden and opaque.
  7. Brush the grilled scallops with reserved lemon garlic butter and garnish with parsley.
