- Preheat your grill to medium heat, around 350°F to 400°F.
- Prepare the corn by husking it completely or leaving the husk on; pat dry if husked.
- Spread butter over the corn and sprinkle with salt; add any optional seasonings.
- Wrap the corn tightly in aluminum foil.
- Place corn on the preheated grill and cook for approximately 20–30 minutes, turning halfway.
- Remove from grill, let rest for a minute then unwrap and serve hot.
