Ingredients

For the Burger Filling
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese Adds richness and creaminess; try flavored cream cheese for a delightful twist.
  • 1 tbsp Minced Garlic Provides that robust garlic flavor; using roasted garlic can give a milder taste.
  • 1 tsp Italian Herbs Enhances the filling's flavor profile; feel free to substitute with Italian seasoning.
For the Burger Patties
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Serves as the hearty burger base; swap with turkey or plant-based protein for a lighter option.
  • 8 tsp Garlic Powder Intensifies the garlic goodness; adjust according to your taste preference.
  • Salt Essential seasonings for enhancing flavor.
  • Pepper Essential seasonings for enhancing flavor.
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce
  • 0.5 cup Water Necessary for the sauce's consistency; helps in creating a smooth texture.
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream Creates that luscious creamy texture; light cream can be used, but it may alter the richness.
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley Adds a fresh touch to the sauce; dried parsley can work if fresh isn’t available.
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch Helps thicken the sauce; alternatives include flour or arrowroot powder.
For the Toppings
  • 4 slices Provolone Cheese Melts beautifully to top off your burger; cheddar or mozzarella can also make great choices.
  • 4 Brioche Hamburger Buns A soft, buttery base; feel free to use whole wheat or gluten-free buns for variations.

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, and Italian herbs until smooth and well-blended.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, gently mix the ground beef with 8 teaspoons of garlic powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Take four of the burger patties and spoon a portion of the cream cheese mixture onto each.
  4. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully place the stuffed patties on the hot surface and cook for about 5 minutes on each side.
  5. While the burgers are cooking, bring ½ cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan. Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of minced garlic and garlic powder.
  6. Once the Garlic Overload Burgers are fully cooked and the cheese is melted, remove them from the grill. Place each patty on a brioche bun, and generously drizzle with the creamy garlic sauce.
