Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by cutting your sirloin steak into bite-sized cubes and patting them dry with paper towels. Sprinkle with kosher salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Let sit for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and unsalted butter over medium-high heat until foamy. Add the steak bites in a single layer.
  3. Sear the steak bites for about 3 minutes on each side until they develop a rich brown crust.
  4. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and cover loosely with foil to keep warm.
  5. In the same skillet, add the remaining unsalted butter, let melt, then add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
