- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Spread cream cheese mixture on one slice of bread, top with sliced strawberries and jam, then add another slice of bread.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs and milk to create the egg wash.
- Dip each sandwich in the egg wash, coating evenly on both sides.
- Heat butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat, then place the dipped sandwiches into the skillet.
- Fry sandwiches for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and fry the other side for another 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer fried sandwiches to paper towels to drain and dust with powdered sugar immediately.
- Serve warm with fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
