Waffle Preparation

  2. For Red Velvet Batter, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, mix buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and red food coloring, then stir into dry ingredients.
  3. Preheat the waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions and lightly grease it.
  4. Scoop classic batter into the iron, then add red velvet batter and swirl gently to create the marble effect.
