- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease the 8x8 inch baking dish generously with non-stick cooking spray.
- Take half of the sugar cookie dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the greased baking dish.
- Place approximately 8 Peeps evenly atop the pressed cookie dough.
- Crumble the remaining cookie dough over the top of the Peeps.
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 8 minutes.
- Remove the dish from the oven and gently swirl the softened Peeps around.
- Return the dish to the oven for an additional 12 minutes.
- Remove the dish from the oven and allow the bars to cool completely at room temperature.
- Refrigerate the cooled bars for about one hour.
- Slice the Easter Peeps Sugar Cookie Bars into squares.
