  • 3/4 cup Dutch Cocoa Powder can use natural cocoa powder if needed
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 large Egg at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips dark, milk, or semisweet varieties
For Decoration
  • 1/2 cup Extra Chocolate Chips for topping

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Combine the mashed bananas with melted butter, both sugars, vanilla, egg, and Greek yogurt.
  4. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt, then mix into the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until just combined.
  6. Pour into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top, and sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
