Step-by-Step Instructions for Berry Lemonade
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water, and 8 oz of berries. Heat over medium heat until it simmers, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat, strain mixture through a fine mesh strainer, pressing berries to extract juice. Allow syrup to cool to room temperature.
  3. In a large pitcher, mix 2 cups of lemon juice with cooled syrup, add 3 cups of water and ½ cup of sugar. Stir well until sugar dissolves.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve over ice, garnished with fresh lemon slices or berries.
