Preparation Steps
- In a large pitcher, combine 4 cups of cold water with 2 tablespoons of loose leaf green tea or 2 green tea bags. Add a handful of fresh mint leaves, allowing their bright fragrance to infuse the water.
- Peel and thinly slice 2 ripe kiwis, ensuring they are at their peak ripeness for optimal sweetness. Add kiwi slices to the pitcher and gently muddle some of them to release juice.
- If you prefer a sweeter drink, add honey or your favorite sweetener to the pitcher, adjusting to taste. Stir thoroughly to ensure the sweetener dissolves.
- Cover the pitcher securely and place it in the refrigerator to steep for at least 6 to 8 hours. For best flavor, let it steep overnight.
- After steeping, remove the pitcher from the refrigerator and strain out the kiwi slices, mint leaves, and tea bags using a fine mesh strainer.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the cold brew tea over the ice, allowing it to chill further.
- Garnish each glass with a fresh mint sprig and a slice of kiwi before serving.
