  4. Prepare the Filling: Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  5. Shape the Dough: Roll out the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  6. Form the Roll: Roll tightly, cut into 8 pieces, and place on a greased baking sheet. Let rise for 45 minutes.
  7. Fry the Honey Buns: Heat oil to 365°F and fry dough pieces until golden brown, about 90 seconds on each side.
  8. Drain Excess Oil: Remove from oil and place on a wire rack to drain.
