Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry Jell-O with boiling water. Stir until dissolved and let cool.
- Crush the salted pretzels, then mix with granulated sugar and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 13x9 glass dish and bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
- Beat the softened cream cheese with sugar until light and fluffy. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over the cooled pretzel crust. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Hull and slice fresh strawberries. Mix the sliced strawberries into the cooled Jell-O, then pour it over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours until set.
