Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add 2 cups of broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
  3. Add 1 pound of lean ground beef and 3 minced garlic cloves. Cook for 5-6 minutes until browned.
  4. Whisk together ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil, 1 teaspoon ground ginger, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
  5. Pour sauce into the skillet with beef, stir well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Reintroduce the cooked broccoli back into the skillet, toss everything together for another minute.
  7. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles, and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
