Step-by-Step Instructions for Cookies and Cream Cookies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. Crush about 10 Oreo cookies in a zip lock bag until they form fine pieces.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream room temperature butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add one large egg and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and mix gently without overmixing.
  7. Fold in the crushed Oreo pieces until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  8. Form balls using about 3 tablespoons of dough for each cookie and arrange on baking trays with 2 inches of space.
  9. Press additional crushed Oreos on top of each cookie dough ball for added flavor and crunch.
