Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken with finely chopped onion, minced garlic, and fresh parsley. Sprinkle in the ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper, then mix everything thoroughly using your hands for about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Wet your hands to prevent sticking, then take small portions of the mixture and shape them into oval patties, aiming for about 10-12 koftas.
  3. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes. Lightly brush the surface with olive oil.
  4. Carefully place the shaped kofta onto the grill and cook them for 5-7 minutes on each side.
  5. While the kofta are grilling, mix together plain yogurt and lemon juice in a small bowl. Add a pinch of salt and optional minced garlic.
  6. Once the kofta are fully cooked, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a minute. Serve with the garlic yogurt sauce.
