- In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, mixing until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Create a shallow indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent puffing.
- Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for optimal cooking.
- Arrange the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for about 6 minutes, flip, and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Add cheese on top for the last minute of cooking to melt.
