  • 1 lb Ground Beef 80/20 lean-to-fat ratio preferred
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper Substitute with black pepper for milder taste
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder Fresh minced onions can be used
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Fresh garlic optional

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, mixing until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Create a shallow indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent puffing.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for optimal cooking.
  5. Arrange the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for about 6 minutes, flip, and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  7. Add cheese on top for the last minute of cooking to melt.
